How to make stock and crypto videos from market data

Written and reviewed by the VideoMason team at TiG Talents in Germany UG (haftungsbeschränkt). Updated .

Choose a candlestick replay for price action, a market heatmap for one market snapshot, or investment growth for a hypothetical historical holding. VideoMason imports supported stock and crypto feeds into these formats so you can edit and render a source-labelled video.

Choose a supported connection

CoinGecko provides supported crypto feeds for prices, market caps, movers and heatmaps. Twelve Data supplies stock-price histories. Financial Modeling Prep supplies supported stock screens, heatmaps and earnings data.

Some providers require a key or an appropriate plan. A connection supported by the software may not be configured on a particular deployment. The Studio shows availability; the public source catalogue explains each connector.

Create and check the video

  1. Select the market feed and asset or ticker in the Studio.
  2. Choose the date range or snapshot and import the project.
  3. Check the currency, candle interval, time window and observation date.
  4. Edit the title and style, retain the source label, and render in landscape or vertical format.

Describe the measurement accurately

A 24-hour change and a calendar-day return cover different time windows. A market-cap heatmap and a volume heatmap use different size measures. Name the measure and window in the title or supporting text.

A historical growth chart is hypothetical. Do not describe a price-only example as a total return if it leaves out dividends, fees or other cash flows. Check the provider’s display and redistribution terms for public videos; adding attribution alone does not establish those rights.

Common questions

Are these videos live trading signals?

The formats visualise imported observations and historical values. They do not predict prices or generate a personal investment recommendation.

Can I enter data manually?

Yes. The formats accept editable data, so you can use your own verified dataset when a connector is unavailable.
